Precautions and Tips:

It is important to have a quiet place and soothing environment, like we have created at Touch of Health Chiropractic, in which to practice so that you can focus your awareness inward without distraction.

Follow the instruction of the teacher carefully and move slowly.  Never do anything that you are uncomfortable with or that makes you feel pain or strain.

Unless otherwise indicated, breathe in and out through your nose.  Breathing in rhythm with your movement helps relax you and syncs your body with your mind.

If you have any medical conditions, you should always consult your doctor or health care practitioner as well as communicate with your instructor before beginning yoga.

Do not compare yourself to others. Always remember to have fun and never take yourself too seriously!
